Allow our lavish Hyatt New York City hotel to accommodate your wedding ceremony and reception. From room set up and decor to hosting rehearsal dinners, we can answer any question you might have about our picturesque wedding site.

Q: Can I create my own menu?
A: Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes.  Our experienced team will work with you to fulfill your requests.

Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?
A: Yes, for weddings with 100 guests minimum.  A tasting of select menu items will be scheduled prior to your wedding.  At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

Q: How long will my reception last?
A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours.  You can extend the time if desired.  Your wedding specialist will advise any additional costs for the additional time.


Q:  Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?
A: We work on a regular basis with several vendors.  Whatever services you require from photographer and florist to musicians or officiate, your wedding specialist will be happy to offer vendor suggestions.

Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Grand Hyatt New York?
A: Certainly, we have several locations that would be perfect for these events

Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?
A: No, taxes and gratuities are not included in the pricing

Q: Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?
A: We will try and accommodate your guests' requests; however, this will be dependent on overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.

Q: Can I decorate the reception room?
A: Generally, yes.  There will be certain limitations, which your wedding consultant can review with you.  Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
