Overview

Select the space to suit your needs from a wide array of choices.  From vast ballrooms to boardrooms and every room in between, our beautifully appointed New York City meeting facilities can be arranged to satisfy your requirements.
To ensure our New York City venue meets your standards, all of our meeting and banquet facilities offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity.

Conference Level

The conference level at the Grand Hyatt New York has been recently renovated, featuring brand new meeting space with the latest technology necessary to run a successful meeting. The completion of this renovation makes all of the meeting space at the Grand Hyatt New York renovated within the last few years. This floor of function space is about 13,000 of the total 55,000 square feet of meeting space at the midtown Manhattan hotel. State-of-the-art boardrooms and meeting rooms feature modern design and architecture with dramatic artwork and new furniture.

Decorated in rich browns, reds and greens with marble and light wood, the meeting space has a residential feel.

Ballroom Level
Empire State Ballroom
Fresh from a $12 million renovation, this largest of venues in our New York City meeting hotel offers an impressive 19,000 square feet of flexible space. This newly-renovated ballroom has received a full facelift, making it one of the hotel’s most popular venues.  Warm colors and soaring ceilings help make this versatile room ideal for many functions.  Host a grand finale banquet for 1,500 convention attendees, complete with dance floor. Welcome colleagues to an industry conference in a theater-style set up for 1,500, or create a memorable cocktail reception for over 2,000.
Easily divisible in up to five different sections, you may also use the room to serve multiple purposes.  Select three rooms to hold your meetings, while serving a lunch buffet in the remaining spaces. The adjoining foyer is designed to serve several functions, from pre-conference registration areas to elaborate catering set ups.
Regency Room
Select this mid-sized space to hold committee meetings in a boardroom set up for 40, for an interactive working session with 75 guests, or for an intimate cocktail reception for 150 VIPs.
Park Avenue and Chrysler Rooms
These spacious, airy rooms feature dramatic windows overlooking 42nd Street.  Ideal for board meetings and brain-storming sessions, each of these meeting facilities offers plenty of room for a boardroom table with 25 attendees, as well as room for a working lunch set up. You may also choose to use these rooms in conjunction with the Regency Room, to hold break out sessions from a larger event, or to hold a buffet lunch or coffee break for meeting attendees.

Manhattan Ballroom
This brand new, stunning ballroom features 24' glass walls overlooking 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue.  This state-of-the-art facility boasts electronic drop-down screens, projectors, black-out shades and curtains and also offers 3,000 square feet of pre-function space.  The upscale design of this ballroom makes it the ideal space for an impressive presentation to a group of over 400 investors, theater-style, or for hosting a reception for your top clients.

Grand Hyatt New York's 14th floor boardrooms are perfect for corporate clients looking to hold smaller, private meetings. The 22 boardrooms have a residential feel and go beyond the standard conference amenities and extend into luxury service. Your own concierge is available to assist with your meetings of 10 to 50 people.

Gallery on Lex
Far from any typical boardroom, Grand Hyatt New York’s newest event space is designed to encourage creativity while simultaneously making your guests feel comfortable. The Gallery offers a unique residential-style set up with comfortable furniture and a food and beverage “kitchen” area with a communal table. Ideal for high-profile executive events including networking, brainstorming, cocktail receptions, and intimate presentations, The Gallery’s versatile design, featuring two pavilions connected by an open, glass reception and networking area allows for innovative spatial arrangements. 

New York Central
The culinary philosophy of the New York Central team is to incorporate an artistic approach to ingredient inspired food that warms the soul. New York Central Wine Bar invites guests to sip cocktails while admiring the landscapes of New York City and 42nd Street below.  Perfect for private parties and events, our spacious Wine Gallery offers a unique venue for any occasion.
